The Family Business Institute provides multi-generational family operated businesses in the Philadelphia metro area with business management resources aimed at improving personal leadership performance and driving operational growth.
Housed within the Rutgers School of Business-Camden, the Family Business Institute utilizes the rich array of Rutgers University business assets to channel programs and services to Family Business Institute partners. Some of the units within Rutgers who provide resources to support the Institute include: the Institute for Management and Executive Development, the Regional Small Business Development Center, and Rutgers School of Business-Camden faculty.
Originally founded in 1998 and recently re-established in 2008, the Family Business Institute is a unique information and educational resource which helps business families face challenges with solid information, enhance knowledge to assist in making critical business decisions and aligning valuable resources for future planning and organizational growth.
